Ancient Troy Slot Review
The number one thing that jumps to mind when I think about Troy is the Trojan Horse. I’m not a big fan of anything to do with war but boy do I love that tall and chunky wooden horse. To think the Trojans thought nothing was out of the ordinary when a of a giant wooden horse landed on their doorstep after a ten-year siege by the Greeks. What kind of person would use their precious resources to make their enemy a gigantic horse shaped effigy in honor of their opponents’ victory? Not me. They made a mistake I’ll be sure to never to, so even to this day, as much as I love big horses, I will never accept one as a parting gift.
Ancient Troy is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot powered by software from Endorphina. I think we all now the story of Troy, so I’m not going to go into too much detail, but they really were stupid to fall for that Trojan horse trick, I mean c’mon! Symbols include Helen of Troy, a Trojan soldier, a Spartan soldier, swords, helmets, and royal values from 10 to Ace. The Wild is represented by the Trojan Horse, and the Scatter by an ancient building.
I generally have no complaints about Endorphina controls, but I do today. When I was playing from my laptop, the game give gave me no option but to play in full screen. Most Endorphina slots don’t do that, but I have encountered a few that do - including this one (obviously). Other than that, controls are pretty simple. Below the reels you’ll see “PLACE YOUR BET”, clicking on this will allow you to change your bet (according to coin level, and bet/per line). Just below that are your Bet, Lines, Total Bet, Coin Value, and Credit Displays. To the left of the reels is the menu button, and to the right is Spin, Auto Play, and Turbo Spin. Just keep in mind that the controls are optimized for tablet or mobile, not desktop, and you’ll be fine.
So, what features can you expect from Ancient Troy? Wild: Wild substitutes for all symbols except Scatter.
Landing 3 or more Scatters trigger 10 free spins, with Troy Jokers (x1, x2, and x3 multipliers). Ancient Troy also has a great gamble feature, where your win can be doubled up to ten times, as long as you win against the card dealer. Should you lose, all of your winnings will be lost too.
Other than what I mentioned before (the full screen business), Ancient Troy runs really well. You’ll find excellent graphics, a very Troy-esque soundtrack (think of 300 - the movie, that is) and gameplay available on any device - but give desktop a miss if you don’t feel like fighting with your screen.
The max coin win is a whopping 50,000.
Ancient Troy is another fun offer from Endorphina. It boasts awesome features, solid graphics, huge wins, and multipliers. Overall, it’s a really great game that I’m certain will be one of their most recent top releases. Give it a whirl and see for yourself.
